If you’re looking for a period action title that blends witches, magic cats, and all things supernatural into a compelling narrative, then 1666: Amsterdam’s early access could be the one for you. Check out its platforms and console status.
Noa may seem like a crazy cat lady in 1666: Amsterdam, but say that to her face, and you might wind up in a cauldron being used as an anti-wrinkle potion.
After all, she hunts demons, and with Assassin’s Creed’s creator overseeing the game’s development, you can get on board early through early access—depending on which platforms you own.
Can You Play 1666: Amsterdam Early Access on PS5, XBOX Series X|S, or Nintendo Switch 2?
The early access version of 1666: Amsterdam will not be released on consoles at any point. The whole early access phase is specifically reserved for PC.
It’s been confirmed that 1666: Amsterdam Early Access is only on PC. If you want to play, help test the game, and see what the first few hours are about, then you need a PC.

This shouldn’t be a shock, as many developers do this.
Will the 1666: Amsterdam 1.0 Release Be On Console?
On the other hand, if you wait for the full 1666: Amsterdam launch, then you can play it on consoles once the time comes.
Through the 1666: Amsterdam Discord, I found a message from Alessia-Rose (SMCM), social media and community manager at Panache Digital Games, who responded to questions about the game appearing on console:

“We will release on console later.”
It’s not specified which consoles, but we can presume a PS5 and XBOX Series X|S port are guaranteed, but the Nintendo Switch 2 version isn’t as certain.
However, with more third-party games appearing on Nintendo more than ever, don’t be shocked to see it arrive on Switch 2.
We’ll wait for future updates as 1666: Amsterdam’s early access progresses, and as we get closer to the 1.0 launch further down the line.
