Xbox Insiders Can Now Disable Quick Resume

Xbox Insiders are getting a selection of new features to test, including the ability to disable the console’s Quick Resume feature.

Microsoft is working to bring many new, helpful features to Xbox players, making their experience much more immersive. They have already announced the arrival of Gaming Copilot for the Xbox console. Now, more highly requested features are being tested by Insiders and should soon be available to all.

Xbox Insiders Get to Try More Groups on Home, Custom Colors and More

The new blog post reveals all the fresh features Xbox Insiders get to try out in the update rolling out today. Firstly, players can have more groups, with the number extended from 2 to 10. Managing these groups has also been improved, with the same reordering functionality as in games. The pinning feature has also been made more intuitive.

Next is Custom Colors, which brings a truly personalised experience to Xbox. Instead of being limited to system colors, players can use sliders to get the exact hue and shade that is unique to them. Then you have the most requested feature, the ability to disable Quick Resume on a per-game basis on Xbox consoles. This can be done by visiting Manage game & add-on > Quick Resume Settings.

Lastly, Profile Badges will highlight notable moments and milestones that players have experienced across their Xbox journey. Players will find the five most recently unlocked badges once they view their own profile or view another player’s profile in the Guide.
