Xbox Game Pass: What’s Coming and Leaving in May 2023

xbox game pass

It has been revealed that several games will be coming to Xbox Game Pass throughout what remains of the month of May 2023, and five titles will be leaving when the month comes to a close. It’s the typical ebb and flow of the ever-popular subscription service, but what are the new games coming to Xbox Game Pass this month (on PC and console)?

Every New Game Coming to Xbox Game Pass in May

There are eight games being introduced to Xbox Game Pass as the month unravels, and it’s quite a mixed bag.

It all kicks off (heh) with FIFA 23, which is dropping today on both console and PC. This’ll be available through the EA Play integration that was introduced to the Game Pass ecosystem quite a while ago. However, with the arrival of FIFA 23, it has been confirmed that FIFA 21 will be stripped from the service.

Here’s everything else that’s coming to Game Pass in May:

  • Eastern Exorcist – May 18th
  • Ghostlore – May 18th (console only)
  • Planet of Lana – May 23rd
  • Cassette Beasts – May 25th (console only)
  • Massive Chalice – May 25th (also on Cloud)
  • Railway Empire 2 – May 25th (also on Cloud)
  • Chicory: A Colorful Tale – May 30th

And then these are the games that we’ll bid farewell to when May wraps up:

  • Floppy Knights
  • Lawn Mowing Simulator
  • Evil Genius 2: World Domination
  • Europa Universalis

So, while you won’t be able to mow virtual lawns going into June, you will be able to build your own railway network or fight Southeast Asian-inspired monsters. It’s a trading game.
