As someone who genuinely enjoys lengthy role-playing games, even those with a bit of grind, I cannot wait to see more about Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. I adore Inquisition, as do many of you, and it’s high time we receive a direct sequel. But will we see Dragon Age: Dreadwolf at Summer Game Fest?
When is the Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Reveal?
According to an Xbox Store Page, which we’re working to corroborate with more concrete information such as a date, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf will receive a full reveal this summer, likely during Summer Game Fest. Whether it happens during the Summer Game Fest Showcase, Xbox Games Showcase, or elsewhere, however, remains to be seen.
It makes the most sense to showcase the open-world RPG at SGF 2024! Of course, when they say “Full reveal Summer 2024,” it could mean July or August, too. I think that’s highly unlikely, though, especially with all eyes on Summer Game Fest. It’s too fitting!

Does Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Have a Release Date?
We don’t yet have a full unveiling, so there’s no official Dragon Age: Dreadwolf release date. However, Insider Gaming received reports regarding a launch by March 2025. We’ve previously heard the RPG will launch sometime this year, but an early 2025 release date seems more likely and appealing for EA to focus on.
Is Dragon Age: Dreadwolf a Direct Sequel?
Yes! It’s been revealed that Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, the fourth game in the long-running RPG franchise, is a direct sequel to Dragon Age: Inquisition. Players will take on the role of a hero, likely with full customization like in Inquisition, as we fight to stop Solas from ripping a hole in the Veil.
If you don’t want to miss the possibility of a Dragon Age: Dreadwolf reveal, don’t forget to check out the start time for Summer Game Fest. While you’re here, it would mean the world to us if you subscribe to the Insider Gaming Newsletter!
