Will Ospreay has once again professed his love for Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed on a major stage, this time during the AEW All In event in Texas. Hours ago, the ‘Aerial Assassin’ emerged in Texas amidst an Assassin’s Creed partnership that saw the latest game, Shadows, appear as the order of the day.
With shinobi escorting him to the ring, Ospreay wore a fresh outfit themed around Assassin’s Creed: Shadows and was backed by visuals pulled straight from the game.
‘An Official Assassin’
In the moments following Ospreay’s appearance at AEW All In Texas, the superstar posted on social media:
I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would become an official Assassin. Thank you to @assassinscreed and @Assassins_UK for believing in me and making my dreams come true.
This isn’t the first time that Assassin’s Creed has influenced Ospreay’s performance, as in August last year, the AEW star entered an event at the iconic Wembley Arena in the same fashion. At the time, it was a perfect promotional event for Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, and it linked in nicely with Ospreay’s adoration for Ubisoft’s flagship franchise:
In FULL Assassin’s Creed mode, “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay HAS ARRIVED HOME in Wembley! Order #AEWAllInLondon LIVE on PPV right now! allelitewrestling.com/aewonppv @WillOspreay | @Assassins_UK | @Ubisoft_UK
The entrance was so incredible that it drew the attention of Assassin’s Creed legends like Roger Craig Smith, who spent years portraying Ezio Auditore, arguably the most recognisable Assassin ever:
If you’re gonna make an entrance… THAT IS HOW IT’S DONE.👊💪👊 Amazing, @WillOspreay!
It seems the Creed was strong with Ospreat at AEW All In Texas, as the superstar managed to defeat The Young Bucks along with Swerve Strickland, forcing the duo to surrender their EVP titles.
Those unfamiliar with AEW or Ospreay will also love that his signature movie is dubbed ‘Hidden Blade’.
That’s what I call dedication to the brand.
