Where Winds Meet Update Roadmap Revealed For This Month

Everstone Studio has announced the details of the version 1.2 update for Where Winds Meet, along with a roadmap for upcoming updates in January 2026.

Where Winds Meet is a free-to-play, open-world, Wuxia ARPG that has taken the world by storm. Last month, it was revealed that the title reached a massive milestone of 9 million players in just 2 weeks. It seems that the developers are going to keep this pace going as they have announced a bunch of content coming to the title at the start of 2026.

Where Winds Meet Update 1.2 Will Introduce the Final Volume of Kaifeng, along with New Regions and More

Version 1.2 of Where Winds Meet is scheduled for release on January 9, 2026. It will introduce the final volume for Kaifeng, where players will face the Campaign Challenge boss, Supreme Freedom. The update will also include Nine Mortal Ways Camp, located in the Ghost Market beneath Kaifeng, and a new puzzle cave, Mistveil Prison.

Additionally, the update will bring Guild Battles: Preseason Tournament, a large-scale, coordinated multiplayer mode in which players participate in six intense matches designed to test guild strategies and coordination. Moreover, the First Jianghu Martial Games, a new limited-time festival, will arrive on January 9 and feature “whimsical modes” such as ‘Elder Express’ and ‘Towering Master’.
