Where Minds Weet was revealed during the Opening Night Live ceremony at Gamescom 2022. Since then, things have been relatively quiet, with the developer – Everstone Studio – not passing up much in the way of information regarding the ‘supernatural swordfighting’ game. In the first trailer that showcased the project, we got an extended look at a game that seemed to replicate a few games in its makeup, namely Assassin’s Creed, Ghost of Tsushima, and Sekiro.
It was confirmed a while ago that Where Winds Meet would be released on PC – but thanks to a new trailer dropping at the PlayStation State of Play event, we know it’s also coming to consoles.
Winds Meet on Console
In an all-new trailer for Where Winds Meet that was released today during the PlayStation State of Play showcase, we saw characters fighting acrobatically through trees while wielding weapons like umbrellas and swords. That’s all you need to know.
Here’s the new trailer:
Where Winds Meet comes from Everstone Studio, a Chinese developer sitting under the NetEase banner. This is an untested studio, as Where Winds Meet is the team’s first game. On the company website, there’s a lot of information about what is assumed to be this game, but it’s in Chinese and translating the page doesn’t yield too much in the way of tangible results.
Regardless, the latest trailer is all we need to confirm the biggest piece of news regarding Where Winds Meet since 2022 – it’s coming to consoles.
