You’ll spend plenty of time sailing the seven seas in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, and there will be moments when it’s just you and the open ocean. To keep the boredom at bay and bring some life to the Jackdaw, it’s best to get your crew singing along to some sea shanties.
There are tons to pick from, with hits like Drunken Sailor or Leave Her, Johnny bound to take over your every thought, but you can grow your collection and add more songs to the list. In fact, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has even built upon the tracks from the original, adding even more for you to collect.

Where To Find New Sea Shanties In Black Flag Resynced
In order to find new sea shanties in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, you’ll need to hunt down floating song sheets to add to your collection.
You’ll find these in a variety of places, whether it’s in the towns or on a remote island, as they’re a common collectable to track down and tick off the completionist list. When looking at the map, once you’ve revealed that location’s secrets, you’ll see a small song sheet icon—that’s where you’ll want to go.
However, once you get closer, you’ll see that it’s a floating sheet, and as you get closer, it’ll begin to drift away! It’s your job to track it down, and it’ll likely lead you along a parkour route. They’re rarely difficult and fairly easy to catch, but just make sure you don’t accidentally get ahead of yourself and fall from the rooftops or treeline; otherwise, you’ll have to try again.
How To Select Sea Shanties Whilst Sailing In Black Flag Resynced
When you’re sailing the Jackdaw, you can easily select which sea shanty you want your crew to sing with the simple press of a button.
On console, all you need to do is hold down the bottom arrow on the D-pad, or use the mouse scroll wheel on PC. Doing so will open up a selection of songs, where you can pick and choose exactly which one you want to listen to.
As you grow your collection and find more shanties, more songs will become available. If you want to learn the words and sing along, you can even find the lyrics in the Codex, or you can do the more popular method and listen to your crew belt out a song on repeat until it’s engrained into your memory—your choice!
