On October 13, Battlefield 6 Season 5 lands on all platforms, introducing the game’s first anniversary to millions of interested players worldwide. It’s a monumental update that adds two new maps, four new weapons, limited-time modes, an overhaul to many of the game’s core systems, and much more.
If you’re still playing Battlefield 6, you won’t want to miss this game. Improvements have been made to REDSEC, there’s more Ranked content coming, a new battle pass has been lined up, and a free-play week is approaching.
With all that being said, let’s answer a critical question… When does Battlefield 6 Season 6 come out?
Battlefield 6 Season 5 Release Times Confirmed
Battlefield 6’s Season 5 update will be available to install from 08:00 UTC on October 13. This allows users to get their download completed in time for the go-live.
Battlefield 6 Season 5 will then be released globally at 12:00 UTC, or at:
- 5 AM PST
- 8 AM EDT
- 1 PM BST
- 2 PM CEST
- 9 PM JST
From that point, you’ll be free to leap into the two new maps, use the four new weapons, and start grinding the brand-new battle pass (or the Pro pass, if that’s more your speed).
Later in the month, you’ll have the Dead Space x Battlefield 6 event kick off as well, which is a PvE-focused LTM created especially for something spooky this Halloween season.
Battlefield 6 Season 5 Update Size
At the time of writing, it wasn’t clear what the install size was for the Battlefield 6 Season 5 update, otherwise known as the 2.1.1.0 update.
