For those of us still actively playing Project Zomboid and eagerly awaiting the launch of Build 42, some good news finally arrived from developer The Indie Stone. Project Zomboid Build 42 is officially on the unstable branch, available to download and play now, but with a few caveats. First and foremost, it’s only available in unstable as a work in progress, and the build does not work with current saves or mods, so clear your files!

Build 42 is positively massive, with so much new content that ensures Zomboid feels like an entirely new game.
