Riot Games has announced that the VCT Americas 2026 Stage 2 Finals will take place in São Paulo, Brazil, the host of the Valorant LOCK//IN tournament 2023, which Fnatic won.
The event will be the first time that VCT Americas will be hosted in Brazil, moving away from its traditional home at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles.
Riot Games outlines Brazil Event
Riot Games announced the Brazil event on their Brazilian Valorant account, stating, “For the first time in history, #VCTAmericas will be held in Brazil! And we already have the DATES and VENUE for the event that will bring the little Brazilian to the finals of Stage 2.”
The event will take place from September 4 to 6 at the Suhai Music Hall in São Paulo. The venue boasts a capacity of over 9,000 people on its website, with a 2,900 m² main floor making it one of the biggest by area in Valorant history.
The event also features a main stage and terraced viewing, though we’ll have to wait for the ticket sales to see the exact configuration of seating for VCT Americas Stage 2.
VCT Americas Stage 2 is the main split, and third split overall, of the VCT yearly calendar after VCT Kickoff and VCT Stage 1. Stage 2 is widely regarded as the most important split, as the winner will be directly invited to Valorant Champions 2026.
Brazilian fans will get to enjoy three days of high-octane action as teams attempt to make their final pushes for Valorant Champions as they also push for their regional silverware.
The three-day event will feature the following matches of the split:
- Upper Bracket Final
- Lower Bracket Semi-Final
- Lower Bracket Final
- Grand Final
All other matches will be played at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles, starting on July 16, when the group stage begins.
Brazilian fans will undoubtedly want to see their home teams heavily represented at the event. With Leviatán making the Grand Final of Stage 1, Furia winning Kickoff, and Erick ‘aspas’ Santos doing his thing on MIBR, the odds are high that some Brazilian players will be present.
