Undisputed Boxing Gets New Gameplay And Features Video Ahead Of Release

Steel City Interactive has released a new video for Undisputed. The video showcases the features and gameplay players can come to expect in Undisputed when it launches on Console this October.

Undisputed includes a roster of over 70 licensed fighters across 10 different weight divisions. Some of those fighters include current stars like Canelo Alvarez and Oleksandr Usyk as well as legends like Muhammad Ali and Joe Louis.

Undisputed also features a career mode to take your custom fighter up the ranks from a nobody to world champion. There’s also local and online multiplayer.

From a gameplay standpoint, Steel City Interactive has spent the months leading up to the console release to make sweeping changes to Undisputed’s punches, footwork, animations, and more. You can check it all out in the video trailer below.

Undisputed makes its console debut on October 11 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Those who already own the game on PC will see the game updated with all of the new changes on that same day. Those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition of the game will also receive the following:

  • The Fighters Pack: Jaime Munguia, Regis Prograis, Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez, Dmitry Bivol, Caleb Plant, and Julio Cesar Chavez, along with alternative ring attire for each.
  • The Apparel Pack: Alternative ring attire for Claressa Shields, Canelo Alvarez, Oleksandr Usyk, Katie Taylor, Tyson Fury, and Amir Khan.
  • The Eras Pack: Three young fighter versions – Tyson Fury ’09, Canelo Alvarez ’11, and Muhammad Ali ’64.
  • Three Days Early Play on the digital Deluxe Edition.
  • The Physical Deluxe WBC edition will also include the Official WBC Patch, as seen on the shorts of many champions.

This looks awesome!

Also it's surprising why EA has abandon their Fight Night series in favour of UFC so now other devs can take their chance on this.

Oh EA has their eyes on this. They've been working on bringing back Fight Night for a while now. Seeing how this performs will be big in terms of what they do

I mean I'm not sure how their UFC series sells nowadays (I personally loved #2, never tried succeeding ones) but I have to imagine it's not that Madden-level.

UFC, the MMA leader itself not the game, is arguably one of the most profitable live-event product / entertainment / sports around so there's that.

In relation, the exclusivity license deal between EA & Endeavor (UFC parent company) hangs in the balance if I'd take a guess.

Both companies are at a crossroads IMO & this new boxing game Undisputed as you said Mike is being closely monitored by then.

If things go south for them then UFC could decide to go with 2K for their next deal right while EA makes a new Fight Night.
