Currently, there are only two ways to switch servers in Throne and Liberty. You must either start a fresh character on the server you wish to actively play on, thereby losing any progress made on your first character, or you must purchase a server transfer token. These tokens are completely free within the in-game shop for a limited time, but that will change rapidly. I suspect they’re only free until the game goes free-to-play in October, once the advanced access phase concludes.
Here’s a step-by-step rundown on how to transfer servers in Throne and Liberty:
- Visit the in-game store, which unlocks after you complete the game’s prologue, from the menu.
- Select Change Servers.
- Purchase the Server Transfer Ticket.
- Select which game server to which you want to move your character, then accept the pop-up.
- You’ll log out of the game and then log in to join the new server.
