Toy’s For Bob Could be Gearing up for a New Game Announcement

The Toys For Bob website has been updated to display just its new logo, which could hint that the developer is gearing up for an announcement.

While the logo is simply a tease its led fans to believe that the tiki mask could suggest that a new Crash Bandicoot game is coming. The mask could be a subtle nod to Aku Aku in the series, who is the mask that will protect Crash from enemies and hazards, giving Crash an added hit point.

That being said, other users on X (formerly Twitter) also believe that the purple could be hinting at Spyro. You can see the tease on their website here.

The studio has also seemingly deleted all of its subdomains and announced that it will be going independent.

Nothing is known for certain, but the website update could suggest that Toys for Bob could be gearing up for an announcement soon, possibly at this year’s Summer Game Fest. In February 2024, Toys For Bob announced that it would be spinning off from Activision, with rumors soon following that the studio had formed a new partnership with Microsoft to publish its first independent game.

So, perhaps a reveal could be at this year’s Xbox Games Showcase.

As of 2007, the Crash Bandicoot series grossed over $1 billion. Its latest release, the N. Sane Trilogy, has sold over 10 million units since its initial release in 2017.

Do you think the website update has any significance to a new announcement?

  • The latest release in the Crash series is Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, which was made BY Toys For Bob and released in 2020…Google’s free, and it can help you not disrespect the studio you wrote your article about, lmao

  • Please no! Let Vicarious Visions come back instead and give them Crash and Spyro the TFB stuff is awful. Also revive the remake of THPS 3 and 4.
