Three Sega Genesis Games Added To Nintendo Switch Online

Three more Sega Genesis games have been added to the console library for Nintendo Switch Online members.

Joining the service this month are classic games Streets of Rage, Super Thunder Blade, and ESWAT: City Under Siege. To play these games, along with other Sega Genesis titles, you’ll need to have an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription.

In addition to Sega Genesis games, subscribers to Nintendo’s highest online tier also get access to Game Boy Advance and Nintendo 64 titles. When the Nintendo Switch 2 launches, GameCube games will also become available.

Nintendo Switch Online costs $20 for the base plan that gives players access to online gaming, Nintendo Music, Cloud Saves, NES, SNES, and Game Boy games. Adding the Expansion Pack brings the yearly cost to $50. That includes the base features along with the aforementioned game libraries as well Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Booster Course Pass, Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise pack, and more.
