He confirmed the release date for the highly anticipated “new Super Mario animated movie,” which is set to hit the screens on April 24, 2026, in Japan and other regions soon after. Miyamoto also shared that Nintendo and the Illumination team will collaborate “to make it a fun movie”, hence, fans should look forward to The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2.
