TenZ Returning to Competitive VALORANT Next Year with T1, It’s Claimed

It has been claimed in an all-new report that Tyson ‘TenZ’ Ngo will make a bold return to competitive VALORANT next year, ascending T1’s ranks to become an active competitor more than two years after retiring. He has called the organization home for several months, but as a content creator, as opposed to a pro player.

TenZ is one of the most prolific VALORANT players in the business, and his brand has been built around the game. This potential revelation comes as T1 has been confirmed as a partner for two upcoming VCT Pacific seasons.

Is TenZ Coming Back to Pro VALORANT?

In a recent report from Sheep Esports, it was claimed that Tyson ‘TenZ’ Ngo is coming back to competitive VALORANT.

The team at the outlet wrote:

The VALORANT superstar Tyson “TenZ” Ngo is set to return to competitive play, joining one of the world’s biggest esports organizations, T1, after spending several months as a content creator for the team, sources familiar with the situation tell Sheep Esports.

In September 2024, TenZ stepped back from actively competing in the VALORANT space to facilitate a more balanced, relaxed lifestyle, opting to pursue content creation instead.

Now that T1 is guaranteed a spot in the VCT Pacific for a couple of seasons and TenZ is still sharp, it makes sense that he would step back into that role. TenZ was in the news earlier this year after revealing an amicable split from Kyedae, his former partner and another content creator.

Time will tell how T1 fares in the VALORANT space, though. The organization hasn’t ever gained much traction there, but it does shine in other areas. It’s no big secret that T1’s League of Legends record is borderline mythical and etched forever in the history books.
