Zynga has confirmed that it is shutting down Torchlight 3 developer Echtra Games before it can show or release its next game.

A new report claims that mobile game developer NaturalMotion is facing layoffs by parent company Zynga, and that they’ve already started.

Zynga, the makers of games like Farmville and Words with Friends, has been ordered to pay IBM $45 million for patent infringement.
