There’s something almost thrilling about playing a game before anyone else, right? You get a chance to explore an untapped world before it’s ruined by spoilers and critique videos picking apart every minute detail. With that in mind, how do you get Star Wars Outlaws early access?
How to Play Star Wars Outlaws Early Access
If you want to get your hands on Star Wars Outlaws early access, ahead of most other players, there are only three ways to do it:
- Star Wars Outlaws Gold Edition ($109.99)
- Star Wars Outlaws Ultimate Edition ($129.99)
- Ubisoft+ ($17.99/month)
That’s right; the only way to unlock the three-day early access to Star Wars Outlaws is by purchasing one of the more expensive editions of the game or subscribing to Ubisoft+. If you’re on the fence about the studio’s single-player, open-world Star Wars title, then you may want to save yourself a bit of money and hassle by subscribing for a month. It’s the cheapest way to play the game early.
Of course, once you unsubscribe, you lose access to the game and all of its content until you re-up your membership for another month.

When Can You Play Star Wars Outlaws?
If you don’t mind waiting until the “official” release date of Star Wars Outlaws, then you can pick up a copy and play on August 30th with the Standard Edition. It doesn’t come with all the bells and whistles of the more expensive versions, but you’re only paying $69.99 instead of more than $100 for the privilege of playing a single-player title earlier than everyone else.
If that’s the plan, we recommend you avoid the internet for those three days. Someone is sure to spoil the story online, either on Reddit or YouTube, to ruin it for everyone else.
