EA Drops Final Gameplay Trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Electronic Arts has dropped its final gameplay trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor in the midst of 2023’s Star Wars Celebration, and fans could not be more excited for the game’s upcoming release. Set five years after the end of Fallen Order, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor follows an aged Cal Kestis. On the run as one of the Empire’s most wanted men, he will encounter new enemies and find himself facing both sides.

The gameplay trailer, as shown below, showcases familiar features as well as new mechanics that players can expect to see. Companion gameplay will be a big part of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, as Cal will fight alongside allies such as Bode Akuna and Merrin. Combat, negotiation, puzzle-solving, and other features that will involve assistance from companions give players a new way of experiencing the story.

Another significant addition to note is that of the rancor battle, a well-loved moment from the original trilogy. Other features showcased include new characters and the use of the Force itself.

Players can pre-order Star Wars: Jedi Survivor directly from EA now and play on PC, PlayStation, or Xbox. The game will be available to play on April 28 and can be purchased alone or as the Deluxe Edition. The standard copy will set you back $69.99 while the Deluxe Edition will cost a bit more at $89.99.
