It appears that Star Wars Jedi Survivor is going to need a bit more time as EA announced today that the game has been officially pushed back to April 28th. The highly anticipated Star Wars game is of course the sequel to the highly acclaimed Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. EA Star Wars published the announcement today on their Twitter account stating the following:
In order for the team to hit the Respawn Quality Bar, provide the team the time they need, and achieve the level of polish our fans deserve, we have added six crucial weeks to our release schedule – Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will now launch globally on April 28th.
It is unfortunate that Jedi Survivor has been pushed back, but it will be nice to have more polishing to the game as the team works out any small defects that would otherwise make it to production if the game would have gone gold.
The last time we saw news from Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was of course at The Game Awards where we were showcased a brand new gameplay trailer. With Star Wars Jedi: Survivor being pushed to April, this leaves us with plenty of time to get caught up on the story from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order as that game is available on PlayStation Plus as well. Star Wars Jedi Survivor releases on April 28th on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, as well as PC.
