Insider Gaming Announces The Indie Initiative

Hello everyone! Today’s an exciting day at Insider Gaming. While we’re used to bringing you the latest news and exclusives in gaming, it’s not often that we get to reveal something fun and exciting about our platform.

That’s why we’re proud to announce The Indie Initiative. This new weekly series consists of both written features and 1-1 interviews to give an insight into upcoming indie games, their development, and the people behind the code.

Indie games are an ever-growing presence in the gaming industry, with more and more developers choosing to abandon triple-A titles and instead focusing on creating a more intimate experience. It’s an area that is expanding massively and it’s important that we push the boundaries to help support this. With The Indie Initiative, we aim to help promote the connected gaming community by highlighting those who have decided to take their passion in life and run with it by creating a promising new game.

We’re familiar that it’s notoriously difficult to push an indie game to the masses. With no marketing budget, PR emails are usually opened and closed by many publications – but we want to change that. We don’t want to just write about your game, we want to learn about it, the people behind it, and the process that made it happen.

While we have games and studios being scheduled for the series, we want to make sure every deserving indie game and studio gets their moment.

If you’d like your game to be profiled or want to learn more about The Indie Initiative, please reach out to us at [email protected]. You can also reach out to me on Twitter @MikeStrawMedia.

The Indie Initiative is coming soon to a device near you.
