Sonic x Shadow Generations is set to launch on October 25, 2024, and SEGA is offering a special treat to all customers who preorder the game: an exclusive Legacy Skin for Modern Sonic.
But that’s not all. The developers have just unveiled another free skin, available only to those who sign up for their newsletter. This exclusive offer will grant you the Sonic Jam Legacy skin, a design inspired by the iconic hedgehog’s first 3D appearance in games.
The Sonic Jam Legacy skin is a design that pays homage to the hedgehog’s first 3D appearance in games. It’s a nostalgic throwback to 1997 when we first saw the character in 3D in a game called Sonic Jam. The excitement of seeing this classic Sonic in a 2024 title will surely bring back fond memories for long-time fans.
Players must subscribe to their newsletter through this website before November 1, 2024, to claim the Sonic Jam Legacy Skin. Once that is done, SEGA will send players a code to download the in-game content for their preferred platform. The code will arrive after the game releases on October 25, 2024.
Signing up is a breeze. Just provide your birth date, country/region, a valid email ID, first and last name, and preferred platform. It’s that simple. However, there are a few things to note. The Sonic Jam Legacy skin will only be available in select regions, and if you’ve already signed up for the newsletter, you’ll need to do it again to be eligible for the free skin. But don’t worry; you can use the same email as before.
