Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater was revealed more than a year ago with an epic trailer that set the hearts of MGS fans worldwide ablaze. Often considered the best Metal Gear Solid game ever made, Snake Eater first emerged in 2004 to a remarkable reception – and this year, it’s poised to be released all over again in a glorious new light.
Konami has rebuilt MGS Delta from the ground up, creating a fresh take on a classic experience that millions of fans will remember from two decades ago.

Metal Gear Solid has had a tumultuous and turbulent relationship with the gaming community since Hideo Kojima – one of the series’ creators – left Konami in 2015. He departed as The Phantom Pain was released, and between then and now, just one more Metal Gear game was released – Survive. It became regarded as the worst game in the franchise and scored record-low results, quickly being forgotten by a disappointed fanbase.
However, the emergence of MGS Delta – otherwise known as the MGS Snake Eater remake – filled fans with a sense of jubilation – Metal Gear Solid was about to become great again. In a series of teaser images and snippets, Konami has uncovered a world that has been faithfully recreated. It’s instantly recognisable but so much better than it ever was – the hope is that the rebuild retains the original sense of heart-pounding tactical action that was present in 2004.

Hopefully they remake 1 and 2 also. Didn’t Konami have a rumored Castlevania game where is that? They should remake Lament Of Innocence next, Bomberman 3D, and bring Bloody Roar back Eighting is still there. Still want a port of Hard Corps Uprising.
