Wales Interactive confirmed today that Sker Ritual, a round-based horror shooter reminiscent of old-school Call of Duty Zombies, will be released globally on April 18. Set in the same universe as the innovative and chilling horror game, Maid of Sker, Sker Ritual offers players an action-packed, heart-pounding experience that’ll see them contend with monsters, dark forces, and bloodthirsty mutants in a desperate fight to survive for as long as possible.
It’s Ritual Time
Sker Ritual is a fantastic round-based survival game, boasting traditional features that fit the genre fused with unique weapons, intense powers, and more enemies to slaughter than you can shake a stick at. I’ve had an opportunity to play Sker Ritual (thanks to Wales Interactive) and can honestly confirm it’s as good as it sounds.
When Modern Warfare 3 was released and its COD Zombies offering was devoid of any traditional round-based modes, I urged fans of the franchise to keep an eye out for Sker Ritual – now being released on April 18.
Take on all comers alone or with friends, customise your character, take down grisly bosses, and navigate the macabre, haunting maps all while sitting firmly on the edge of your seat. It’s effectively a graduation for the early access version that has existed on PC for some time, and as the game hits its 1.0 version, a massive update overhauls much of what exists.
There’s even a nice narrative to play through, adding more weight to an already impressive game.
Sker Ritual will be released in full on April 18 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
