How To Forge Like A Pro In The Forge
Ores breathe life into weapons. Without them, you can’t craft anything in the game. Always try to mine rarer Ores, because the rarer the Ore, the higher your chances of forging a high-quality weapon that deals significant damage.
In this game, the damage of a weapon depends on three factors: the weapon’s base stats, the Ores used to forge it, and your Forge mastery. The formula is:
Damage = Index Base DMG × Multiplier ore × %Mastery item
Damage Formula Breakdown
Weapon damage starts with the Index Base DMG, the raw starting value before multipliers. This is then scaled by the Multiplier ore, determined by your ore’s type, quality, and rarity—rarer ores yield higher boosts. Finally, %Mastery item from your mastery adds a bonus: each 1% mastery contributes 0.01 to the multiplier (e.g., 50% mastery = ×1.5; 90% mastery = ×1.9).
Example Calculation:
Base damage = 10
Ore multiplier = 1.5 (rare ore)
Mastery = 90% (×1.9)
Final: 10 × 1.5 × 1.9 = 28.5 damage
So the crafted weapon would deal 28.5 damage per hit. To craft the strongest weapons, just use the rarest Ores and finest Runes. Veterans and late-game players will easily get hold of valuable Ores like Magmaite, Eye Ore, Darkryte, Fireite, and much more.
