Riot Releases ‘Headliners: The Music of League of Legends’ Book

Riot Games has partnered with publisher Insight Editions to release a new book about League of Legends‘ long history with music.

Headliners: The Music of League of Legends will release on Tuesday, December 8, with Trade Editions and premium Portfolio Editions available.

The collector’s book will look back at virtual artists and groups inspired by LoL, with artwork, behind-the-scenes information, and quotes from the artists themselves.

It ties in with LoL 2026 Season’s music theme, which has seen new HEARTSTEEL music and skins and True Damage return for this year’s LoL Worlds song.

What’s In the League of Legends Headliners Editions?

The normal version of the book, aka the Trade Edition, will cost $55 USD.

The hardcover book will feature behind-the-scenes moments from artists including K/DA and HEARTSTEEL, as well as artist profiles and artwork including some never-before-seen pieces.

It will also come with over 50 collectibles, including posters, stickers, collectible character cards, a guitar pick, temporary tattoos, nail art, bumper stickers, a wristband, and more.

Meanwhile, the Portfolio Edition will cost 175 USD with an exclusive cover variant and over 80 collectibles.

In addition to the Trade Edition’s collectibles, it will also come with eight hand-picked high-quality art prints, a Headliners tote bag, collectible acrylic standees, an ita bag, wallet chain, pins, keychain, patches, and an assortment of vinyl sleeves featuring band art.

The Portfolio Edition is only available through Insight Editions’ website.

Meanwhile, the regular Trade Edition can be pre-ordered through Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million, Bookshop.org, and Walmart.
