LiberNovo Omni Chair Review: Finally, My Back Is Saved Review

Josh Challies

July 14, 2026

I’ve struggled with back pains and aches for a while, and was always told that my posture and the chair I used on a day-to-day basis were an issue. Unfortunately, I’m stubborn, and struggled on, but, finally, my back has been saved.

Earlier this year, I received the LiberNovo Omni chair to review, and I’ll admit I was sceptical. Could a chair really change that much? Oh, how wrong I was, as not only has the chair changed my day-to-day comfort, I can also feel the wider range of effects.

Prior to using the LiberNovo Omni, back pain was a constant problem, particularly at night. Regular stretching didn’t seem to make any difference, and I’d find myself experiencing flashes of pain in my lower back until I felt a crack. While that did provide some relief, it didn’t last.

Thankfully, the LiberNovo Omni Chair came to my rescue.

Undeniable Impact

Upon first arrival, I’ll admit I was daunted to open the box and see there was an entire chair to build. While I’m a proud LEGO builder, my handiwork is far from excellent, and I usually leave such tasks for someone else. Thankfully, it was easy.

The instructions were clear and easy to understand, and it didn’t take long for everything to come together. While the unit is large and bulky, it moves around easily and was swiftly swapped into my setup as my new day-to-day chair. And boy, it’s made such a difference.

I have no complaints over comfort, and it’s considerably better than the basic, old office chair I had previously. In fact, stepping up from that feels a bit like trading in an old, rusty car for a flashy brand-new sports car, and the technology is there to boot.

By far my favourite feature is the Omnistrech, a motorized five-minute spinal massage that gently stretches the spine. This has now become a key part of my daily routine, and is likely where the biggest change to my back pain removal has come from.

As a father of two young children, who grow at an alarming pace, the constant pick ups, catches, and general playtime were times when I really noticed my back pain, and it could be a hindrance. Now, those problems have been reduced entirely.

Daily Comfort

Aside from the flashy features, the chair has greatly increased my daily comfort level. I no longer get a numb bum, or feel the need to take a break from an uncomfortable position. In fact, I feel like I can go on all day.

The Bionic FlexFit Backrest is perfect for this, as it moves with me wherever I need to lean or reach to, whether that’s quickly grabbing a game controller, reaching for a pen, or anything else.

It may seem like writing every day is a fairly static position, but you’d be surprised at the amount of smaller movements I have to make. Previously, these were an easy trigger for my back pain, but that has been eliminated.

Honestly, I can’t sing the praises of the LiberNovo Omni enough.
