First spotted by Twitter user @JbootyfuI and posted by @DanisabeastXD, a Twitch advertisement has seemingly confirmed that the Resident Evil 4 demo will shadow drop after today’s Capcom showcase.
Insider Gaming sources have been able to verify that the Resident Evil 4 Remake will drop later today, after the Campcom showcase. The same sources have also revealed that Exoprimal will release on July 14, 2023.
The Capcom spotlight will take place today at the following times:
- Pre-show: 2:10pm PT / 5:10pm ET / 10:10pm GMT / 11:10pm CET
- Main Show: 2:30pm PT / 5:30pm PT / 10:30pm GMT / 11:30pm CET
Capcom has stated that the show will be approximately 26 minutes in length, but it’s unclear if this includes both the pre-show and main show or not.
Following the Resident Evil 4 Remake on June 3, 2022, Capcom said the game was being developed “by reimagining the storyline of the game while keeping the essence of its direction, modernizing the graphics and updating the controls to a modern standard” (via VentureBeat).
In December 2022, it was revealed that the game would be getting two editions of the game, the standard edition and deluxe edition. You can see the contents of the editions here.
The Resident Evil 4 Remake is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on March 24, 2023.
