It looks like Rockstar Games could be getting ready to release the first Red Dead Redemption on PC. The information comes from data found inside Rockstar’s launcher site files, and was shared on Twitter via Tez2.
The promotion information mentions the original game as well as the Undead Nightmare DLC being “now playable on PC”.
“Journey across the sprawling expanses of the American West and Mexico in Red Dead Redemption, and its zombie-horror companion, Undead Nightmare, now playable on PC,” the product promotion data reads.
Last summer the game launched on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. As far as the future of the series goes, the man behind the voice of Arthur Morgan, Roger Clark, said that he’s “certain” there will be a Red Dead Redemption 3 one day. That said, he doesn’t think Morgan will be a part of any future games in the franchise.
Insider Gaming has reached out to Rockstar Games for comment on the rumors. If a response is received, this article will be updated accordingly. Until then, take this rumor with a grain of salt.
