A new listing on the Brazilian ratings board suggests that Red Dead Redemption 2 might be coming to the Nintendo Switch soon.
First spotted by Twitter user @necrolipe, the listing on the Brazilian ratings board suggests that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Generally speaking, such updates on rating boards happen close to an announcement, but it’s unclear how long the rating has been live on the website.
The rating follows this year’s launch of the original Red Dead Redemption which was released on the Nintendo Switch on August 17 for $49.99. Despite the high price tag, Take-Two CEO, Strauss Zelnick insisted that the $50 price tag for Red Dead Redemption was ‘commercially accurate’ and justified. “That’s just what we believe is the commercially accurate price for it”, he said.
Red Dead Redemption 2 received “universal acclaim” from critics, according to review aggregator Metacritic, and is among the best-selling video games with over 55 million copies shipped. It’s success has also sprung rumors that Red Dead Redemption 3 is also in development.
No official comments are yet to be made by Rockstar Games, Nintendo, or Take-Two Interactive on whether Red Dead Redemption 2 will be coming to the Nintendo Switch or not.
