Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble is an upcoming free-to-play multiplayer arena shooter, releasing for iOS and Android devices soon.
Insomniac’s Ratchet & Clank has been lying dormant since 2023; the only update we have received since then is a PC port for Rift Apart. However, things won’t remain stagnant for too long, as a new title has been announced, but this time it’s for a completely new platform: iOS and Android devices.
Pre-Registrations Are Live for Ratchet & Clank Free-to-Play Multiplayer Game
Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble is a fast-paced arena shooter that allows players to utilize explosive weapons and iconic characters from the franchise. Players will be able to experience the humor, action, and energy through a brand new real-time multiplayer format. You will get to embody some Legendary heroes who have received enhanced abilities. Moreover, you can go to battle online either solo or with other Rangers.
The pre-registrations for Ratchet & Clank Ranger Rumble are now live on their website, and you can check out the announcement trailer below:
The announcement trailer for Ratchet & Clank Ranger Rumble dives straight into gameplay. The trailer features numerous weapons and arenas that fans of the series will recognize from the title. Each character also comes with their set of special abilities. Moreover, the developers have introduced numerous traversal and movement mechanics from the series, including jumping, dashing, grinding, hovering, backflipping, boosting, wall riding, somersaults, gliding, and more.
Furthermore, the title will also feature weapon upgrades and various game modes, including Blast Ball and Bolt Rush. The game is being published and developed by PlayStation Studios, Insomniac Games, and Oh Bibi. No release date was announced.
