Rauora is largely the focus of Rainbow Six Siege‘s latest patch, which sees the Operator receive a series of buffs to improve her zone control and make it easier for Attackers to navigate her web of barriers.
The Y11S1.2 Patch will cause all platforms to experience approximately 60 minutes of downtime from 09:00 EDT/13:00 UTC as the game is updated.
Rauora Rainbow Six Siege Y11S1.2 rework details
The Deployable Omnilink Mesh (D.O.M.) Panel Launcher now has an increased range of 25m from its previous limit of 15m, with all four charges available at the start of the round, making it easier to get zones set up early.
For the Panels themselves, attackers will now only take one second to close the barriers, whereas adversaries will have to take six seconds to open or close them.

D.O.M. PANEL LAUNCHER
- Range increased to 25 meters (from 15).
- Resource management changed to fixed amount.
- All 4 charges are available at the beginning of the round.
D.O.M. PANEL
- Trigger opening time reduced to 0.5 seconds (from 1).
- Panel closing time for allies reduced to 1 second (from 3).
- Panel opening time for enemies increased to 6 seconds (from 3).
- Panel closing for enemies increased to 6 seconds (from 3).
- Panel opening distance for Drones reduced to 1 meter (from 2).
Jackal also receives multiple changes, with the attacking operator gaining frag grenades and an information buff, with footprints now being visible and scannable when destroying the ceiling.
Smoke also gains a new Gadget, with a Deployable Shield. The designer notes explain the motivation behind the change, saying it is “to offer more flexibility in his site setups and provide additional defensive utility.
Rainbow Six Siege Y11S1.2 Patch Refinement Changes & Bug Fixes
Rainbow Six Siege’s devs noted the following buffs and nerfs, described as ‘Refinement Changes’ in their patch notes:
- Clash: CCE Shield MK2 – Taser battery increased to 15 seconds (from 10).
- Frost: Welcome Mat – Limping time increased to 70 seconds (from 60).
- Glaz: Flip Sight – Movement time to reach maximum distortion increased to 15 seconds (from 12).
- Grim: Kawan Hive – Delay to drop the swarm canister increased to 0.6 seconds (from 0.4).
- Thunderbird: Kóna Station – Health regeneration increased to 3 hp per second (from 2).

Gameplay:
Fixed – Glitch visual effect persists on any drone camera after Mute’s Signal Disruptor is hacked by Brava’s Kludge Drone.
Fixed – Defender Operator devices occasionally don’t lose signal when deployed outside at EXT Old Roof on the Fortress map.
Fixed – OSP Pouches can’t be picked up when going down a set of stairs.
Fixed – Solid Snake’s Soliton Radar Mk. III always displays the top floor when used against a wall at EXT Campfire wood on the Chalet map.
Fixed – Defenders with deployable devices can see a prompt for gadget placement when Osa is holding her Talon-8 Clear Shield.
Level design:
Fixed – Detection & compass issue inside House map.
Fixed – Pistol cocking animation plays while Thermite is idle and equipped with the ITA12S shotgun.
Operators:
Fixed – Mute’s Signal Disruptor does not affect drones under certain conditions.
Fixed – The number count for Castle’s Armor Panel is not displayed.
User experience:
Fixed – Solid Snake’s Operator Guide lists the wrong number of Soliton Radar MK. III uses.
Fixed – Ace’s Operator Guide won’t play the video when switching through operators.
Fixed – Squads are unable to enter playlists except for Enlisted, Field Training, and create Custom games.
Fixed – Xbox Friend Request feature is not functional in a custom lobby.
Audio:
Fixed – Missing SFX when using Dokkaebi’s Logic Bomb.
