Quake 2 Remaster Released

Quake is back as Bethesda has announced and released Quake 2 Remaster.

Available for $9.99, Quake 2 Remaster is available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game features the original Quake 2, a new “Call of the Machine” expansion pack, and Quake 2 64.

“A brand-new Quake II experience from MachineGames consisting of 28 campaign levels and one multiplayer deathmatch map,” Bethesda said of the “Call of the Machine” expansion.

As part of the remaster, the game features online and local multiplayer and has crossplay.

“You are humanity’s last hope to stop the Strogg, a hostile alien race waging war against Earth,” Bethesda says in the trailer description. “Play this military sci-fi FPS, now enhanced for modern platforms and feature-complete with all-new campaign content, Quake II 64, online multiplayer and co-op support, and more.”
