As someone who only recently bought a PlayStation 5, I’m on the fence about a PS5 Pro reveal. I’m excited about all-new hardware and, hopefully, a more powerful system overall for this console generation. But at the same time, what about a PlayStation 6? Anyway, let’s not focus too far ahead in the future. When will the PS5 Pro be revealed to the masses?
When Will Sony Officially Reveal the PS5 Pro?
On September 10th, Sony will host a 9-minute stream, dubbed a PlayStation 5 Technical Presentation with Mark Cerny, at 8:00 AM PT / 4:00 PM BT with full details of what’s to come.
Following a recent tease in their 30th-anniversary image, which you can check out here at Insider Gaming, two versions of the upcoming console were sneakily revealed to the world. More specifically, their silhouette and design.
Back in March, we reported that the PlayStation 5 Pro was in development and may launch in late 2024, before the holiday season. As rumors and leaks start to ramp up, it appears we were on the money.

Should You Buy a PS5 Pro?
While it’s your money and your decision to buy a PS5 Pro whenever it launches, we can tell you that, according to information circulating about the system, it is supposed to feature 45% faster rendering than the current PlayStation 5 systems, along with a new resolution upscaling method known as PSSR, alongside other technical features and a sleek new design. If you don’t mind spending a bit of money on yourself, the PS5 Pro may wind up being an excellent investment, so long as Sony continues pumping out quality single-player titles and not mishaps like Concord!
When the PS5 Pro is revealed, will you be among the first in line to pre-order the system?
I can’t think of a better game for the PS5 Pro than Hogwarts Legacy 2, which Warner Bros. Games recently revealed is a top priority for its studio now!
