PS5 Is Getting A New UI Overhaul

The PlayStation 5 (PS5) appears to be set to receive a new UI overhaul, according to a new video from a popular PlayStation YouTuber.

Ahead of any sort of official announcement from Sony, YouTuber Mystic showed off the new PS5 UI for his viewers.

This new UI appears to have a number of new features include the ability to change the background image as well as the explore page now showing things like trophies, console storage, and controller and headset battery life. There’s also a way to focus the type of content you see on the Explore Page, though you won’t be able to move the new widgets around at your discretion.

Mystic mentions that, as of now, this update appears to be in beta and is only available to those in the United States. That said, an announcement of when every PS5 owner should receive the update doesn’t appear to be too far off.

If you want to check out the full look at the new PS5 UI with a complete breakdown of all the new features, you can do so below.
