Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Is Getting Three Free Updates And Story DLC

After the successful launch of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown in January, Ubisoft has announced that the game will be getting three free updates along with a paid story DLC this year.

The first set of free updates come on March 20 with the game getting new Speedrun and Permadeath modes along with new Sargon outfits. Later in the spring comes the second update that features more Sargon outfits as well as a Boss Rush mode.

The last of the free updates will launch in the summer. Known as Divine Trials, this final free update will include new combat, puzzle, and platform challenges for players as well as new Sargon outfits and amulets.

Then, later on in 2024, comes the major update to Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown in the form of brand new story DLC. No other details on what the story DLC will be, but more information is promised to be coming “soon”.

In addition to DLC for the most recent release in the series, Ubisoft is also continuing work on the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. No details on when that could be released has been announced, however.
