With Hytale’s development back on track, this opens up the possibility of finally securing a pre-order after 10 years. The sandbox title has several editions to consider, so let’s discuss each one and when you can pre-order Hytale.
Hytale is the game being touted as the successor to Minecraft. It seems like an almost impossible feat—given Minecraft’s untouchable success and impact—but if anything can do it, it could be Hytale.
Now that Hytale is back after being reacquired by Hypixel Studios, it’s time to keep tabs on pre-orders, editions, and prices!
Is Hytale Available To Pre-Order?

As of writing, Hytale is not available to pre-order just yet, but information is expected to arrive soon.
If you’re struggling to find out how to pre-order Hytale, that’s because it’s impossible right now. The game’s return has been swift, and news on editions, prices, and early access has all arrived quite quickly.
Early access release news is happening soon, though. This will inevitably bring about the pre-order information everyone is seeking. So, keep checking back with Insider Gaming, as this article will be updated with pre-order information once it goes live.
All Hytale Editions & Prices
Hytale has three early access editions to secure: Standard, Supporter, and Cursebreaker. The cheapest being $19.99 and the most expensive hiking things up to $69.99.
To make things nice and easy for you, here’s a quick table showing you each Hytale edition and what it costs.
| Hytale Edition | Price |
|---|---|
| Standard | $19.99 |
| Supporter | $34.99 |
| Cursebreaker | $69.99 |
Official differences between the more expensive editions haven’t been established yet. However, according to an X message: “The team states the higher tier editions will offer cosmetics such as capes, hats, and more!“
There has been surprise and smiles about the Hytale price tag. The game’s founder Simon Collins-Laflamme had this to say:
“I’m pricing Hytale as aggressively low as possible. I’m taking on a considerable personal risk after repurchasing the game and getting it ready for early access for a growing team of now 50 talented individuals. I said I was all in, and I am delivering on that promise. The game is unfinished and runs on a build from over four years ago. Charging more didn’t feel right. I don’t think the game is good yet. My team and I will push hard to make it good, then great. The vision is clear and progress is fast. I want as many players as possible to jump in. Times are tough in the current economy for a lot of you, and I want everyone to have a fair chance to be part of what comes next. Thank you for the support.
Will you be supporting Hytale through its early access period? Clearly, the game is behind after being reborn. But is it showing enough promise already? Drop your thoughts via the Insider Gaming Discord Server.
