If you want more to do in the Paldea region, Nintendo has good news. The company has revealed a new Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Expansion for players.
This two-part expansion will see The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask and Part 2: The Indigo Disk launched in the fall and winter of this year.
In The Teal Mask, players will travel to an area known as Kitakami on a school trip. The Indigo Disk sees players become an exchange student at Blueberry Academy. The new DLC expansion will add Pokemon to the game that aren’t normally found in the Paldea region. These Pokemon include Seel, Ninetails, Shiftry, Metagross, and more.
“During these adventures, you’ll encounter some familiar Pokémon that you hadn’t seen in Paldea, as well as the newly discovered Legendary Pokémon, Ogerpon and Terapagos,” Nintendo says.
Those who pre-order The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC expansion will also get new player outfits and a special Hisuian Zoroark. The outfits will become available immediately in your current game.
Other Pokemon Scarlet and Violet news announced by Nintendo includes Pokemon Home integration coming in 2023 as well as Pokemon GO connectivity for the game.
