PlayStation’s February State of Play Officially Confirmed

PlayStation has provided official confirmation that a new State of Play event is scheduled for February 12, 2026.

Towards the last week of January 2026, a reliable insider revealed that a new State of Play event will be hosted in February, and soon after, another insider revealed the date we should expect it. Turns out, both the insiders were right as PlayStation’s official confirmation comes right in time.

PlayStation’s February State of Play is This Week and is Over 60 Minutes Long

Through the official X account (formerly Twitter), PlayStation confirmed that a new State of Play will air on February 12. Interested readers can tune in on the date at 2 pm PT / 5 pm ET / 11 pm CEST | February 13 at 7 am JST on YouTube and Twitch to watch all the announcements live.

One more detail has been revealed, and it’s that the SoP on Thursday will feature over 60 minutes of “news, gameplay updates, and announcements from game studios across the globe”. The blog post reveals that the spotlight will be on “eye-catching third-party and indie games headed to PS5, along with the latest from teams at PlayStation Studios.”

What to Expect from PlayStation’s February State of Play

Regarding what to expect, there have been no official announcements yet, so these are just speculations. Players are definitely expecting information on already announced titles such as  Marvel’s Wolverine, Marathon, Saros, and more. Then we also have the rumour realm to consider, with things like God of War, new Spider-Man, and more on the horizon.

In other news, PS6 and the PlayStation handheld will reportedly have substantial memory specs. Additionally, a new Horizon multiplayer game has been announced.
