Sony has teased the PlayStation 5 Pro Design in an image celebrating PlayStation’s 30th anniversary.
Albeit a difficult tease to spot if you didn’t know what you were looking for, the PlayStation 30th anniversary shows the outline of the PlayStation 5 Pro, which is easily recognizable thanks to the multiple lines in the middle of the console. From the image below, you can see the PlayStation 5 Pro in the middle, whereas the standard PlayStation 5 (the revised/latest version) to the right.
Last week, dataminer Billbil-kun revealed that the PlayStation 5 Pro will have multiple lines/slits in the panel of the console. Billbil-kun findings suggest that it’s been uploaded on the backend of retailer websites… somewhere, indicating that the console will soon be announced.
In March 2023, Insider Gaming reported that the PlayStation 5 Pro was in development and could be released in late 2024. According to sources, as of late, the console is scheduled to release sometime in November.
The recent PlayStation tease does suggest that the announcement is imminent, with the latest rumors suggesting that the console could be revealed in the coming weeks.
You can read about the PlayStation 5 Pro specs here. It will have 45% faster rendering than the standard PlayStation 5, new resolution upscaling called PSSR, and more.

It will be great to see PS5 Pro as I haven’t bought the standard console yet🔼🔘🔲✖️
If there’s no disc drive option? Absolutely not. I have a 4090. I love trophies, but not THAT much.
No optical drive – no buy
Everyone should boycott this console. Just like everyone boycotted Xbox One. If people accept this device, PS6 will be released without optical drive and game sharing will end
Fight for better future
It’ll have disc drive, it can’t be without.
