We rarely receive a high-budget MMORPG. Lately, most projects in the genre stem from indie studios that often find themselves in over their heads. But with the power of NCSOFT and Amazon, Throne and Liberty early access is finally upon us in North America, and here’s how to get into the game before the official release!
How to Get Into Throne and Liberty Early
The only way to access Throne and Liberty early is by purchasing one of the Early Access Packs: Standard, Deluxe, or Ultimate. They range in price from $40 to $100, and each one features five-day early access to the MMORPG from developer NCSOFT, along with a handful of in-game items and cosmetics.
- Throne and Liberty: Early Access Pack – Standard ($39.99)
- 5-Day Early Access
- Shadow Lion Morph
- Radiant Swan Morph
- Radiant Otter Morph
- Radiant Lulu Amitoi
- “Explorer” Title
- Throne and Liberty: Early Access Pack – Deluxe ($69.98)
- 5-Day Early Access
- Shadow Knight Outfit
- Shadow Lion Morph
- Radiant Wolf Morph
- Radiant Swan Morph
- Radiant Otter Morph
- Radiant Lulu Amitoi
- Shadow Mischief Amitoi
- “Explorer” Title
- “Adventurous Pioneer” Title
- 500 Lucent
- Throne and Liberty: Early ACcess Pack – Ultimate ($99.97)
- 5-Day Early Access
- Shadow Knight Outfit
- Shadow Lion Morph
- Shadow Wyvern Morph
- Radiant Wolf Morph
- Radiant Swan Morph
- Radiant Otter Morph
- Radiant Lulu Amitoi
- Shadow Mischief Amitoi
- “Explorer” Title
- “Adventurous Pioneer” Title
- “Trailblazer of Solisium” Title
- “Take the Throne” Emote
- 1,000 Lucent
I’ll be honest, that Shadow Wyvern Morph is quite remarkable, but I don’t know about $100. I won’t judge you if you buy that pack, though.

Will Throne and Liberty Be Free to Play?
Following the five-day early access period, which is more like advanced access, as the game isn’t in an early alpha state like other Early Access titles, Throne and Liberty will move to a free-to-play model. Everyone who intends to jump into the game on October 1st can do so without paying, and those who previously paid for the advanced access packs will receive a variety of cosmetics and in-game currency as a ‘thank you’ for testing the game’s servers and mechanics ahead of the official release.
