It was revealed today that Pentiment is being ported to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. This is part of Microsoft’s pledge to make Xbox games available everywhere, and it’ll be joined on these platforms (at least in part) by the likes of Sea of Thieves, Hi-Fi Rush, and Grounded. It was recently discovered that Pentiment – like Hi-Fi Rush – is getting a physical release for the first time on all three platforms, courtesy of Limited Run Games.

Limited Run Games was revealed as the partner supporting the physical release of Hi-Fi Rush (per Bethesda). It was later found that the same company is backing the physical distribution of Pentiment, a popular and unique RPG from Obsidian, across Xbox, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
On the Limited Run Games website, all three versions are available to pre-order, but despite them either being available now or being released soon, it was stressed that the estimated shipping date for the physical copies will be in August 2024. That’s quite a long time to wait for die-hard fans of the quirky, immersive, and stylish RPG.
