Paradox Interactive is set to reveal a number of new games during its Paradox Announcement Show on Monday, including the long-awaited Cities: Skylines 2.
Insider Gaming has learned the three new games set to be revealed during the show are Cities: Skylines 2, Life By You, and The Lamplighters League.
The New Games From Paradox Interactive
The follow-up to the original released in 2015, Cities: Skylines 2 is being built exclusively as a “next-gen experience”. The game will feature more open-ended gameplay and “fully-realized transport and economy systems”. Multiplayer features were asked about, but nothing was provided at the time. Cities: Skylines 2 launches later in 2023 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
The Lamplighters League comes from the team behind Battletech and will feature similar turn-based tactical combat. The game is about a group of scholars tasked with stopping a cult from taking over the world. The Lamplighters League will be available later this year for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
Lastly, Life By You is a life simulator game from Paradox Tectonic. Insider Gaming wasn’t given much in the way of information, but Paradox will be announcing an upcoming show centered around the game to air on March 20. That is when platforms and features will be fully revealed, per sources.
