Palworld’s big 1.0 update has added a heap of new content, and familiar locations throughout early access now have additional lore with Echobones to locate.
The major Palworld update has added a host of new environments, Pals, and content to the game, including significantly expanding the main story, and the four Echobones to locate play a major part.
If you’re on the hunt for the Echobones, Insider Gaming can tell you exactly where to go to tick them off your to-do list.
All Echobone Locations
Four Echobones are scattered throughout Palworld to collect, and while they aren’t marked on your map until you unlock the specific mission, they’re easy to spot regardless with a yellow beacon shining from their location.
Two of the Echobones can be accessed very early on, including one right by the starting area, but the final two will require you to venture into dangerous territories. To make your life much easier, having a flying Pal is crucial and will make your quest much easier.

How to Use Echobones
Echobones in Palworld have only one use and are required to craft a special item to summon Panthalus, a key Pal in the core story of the game.
However, while there’s nothing stopping you from collecting all four Echobones early on, facing off, and catching Panthulus requires significant progress through the story.

In fact, the Echobones themselves will be useless until you have defeated the tower at Feybreak and on the new flying islands, which then unlocks the story portion connected to Panthalus.
You may as well get the Echobones ticked off early, though, as it saves you plenty of travelling later on in the game.
