Overwatch developers have confirmed that “Anran” will be redesigned following heavy community feedback.
For those unaware, the voice actor for Anran, Fareeha, recently addressed the character’s design, stating that she wanted to address the ‘elephant in the room’ without stepping on the developers’ toes and insinuating that the new design falls into the ‘Ozempic Chic‘ category. The developers have now responded to this feedback.

The development team is currently discussing “what it will take to make Anran look and feel more like the fierce older sister” she was envisioned to be. The design update should arrive by season 1, but the developers don’t yet have concrete details on what will change.
