\The release of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 Series may not be coming as soon as many originally thought. According to a new claim from a known leaker, the Nvidia RTX 50 series might not be officially announced and released until CES 2025.
“I think we won’t see RTX 50 until CES,” they said.
Originally, the idea was that the Nvidia RTX 50 series would start launching this fall with the release of the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080. Based on the claim, that seems to have changed.
It’s worth noting that nothing about the new GPU launch has been confirmed, so please take this latest rumor with a grain of salt. That said, the source, Kopite7Kimi, has a history of being accurate with their claims.
Nvidia has said that they won’t comment on rumor or speculation.
As far as what to expect when they do launch, the RTX 5090 is rumored to have a base clock of 2.9 GHz. Expected TDP for the new lineup of cards were also leaked via Seasonic’s PSU wattage calculator.
