Nintendo Live Coming To Seattle in 2023

Nintendo Live will be coming to Seattle, Washington this September after the event made a roaring return in Japan last year.

The event is a celebration of all things Nintendo that can be enjoyed by all ages and offers those who attend the chance to take part in tournaments and live performances. Some of the most well-known Nintendo Switch titles will be available to play for free at the event either alone or with friends. Some of the biggest Nintendo mascots will of course also be on hand for photo opportunities.

Nintendo has tailored the event to be as accessible to audiences as possible whether you’ve been a lifelong fan or entirely new to gaming. Doug Bowser has praised the event ahead of its U.S debut and expressed his excitement in an official statement saying:

Fans of all ages can currently experience the unique games, characters and worlds of Nintendo on Nintendo Switch, but we want to expand that scope with a new experience. With Nintendo Live 2023, we’re giving attendees a chance to celebrate together with family, friends and the broader Nintendo community in the spirit of fun and creating long-lasting memories.

Doug Bowser – President at Nintendo of America

There’s been no official date listed for the event so far but Nintendo has promised more details to come in the weeks and months ahead. Nintendo Live marked its long-awaited return to Japan last year after taking a break following the Covid-19 pandemic. Some of the highlights of last year’s show included an Animal Crossing x Splatoon live concert, a dedicated stage show all about the layered history of Pokemon, and the final of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe online tournament. You can check out the event for yourself on the official Nintendo Live site.

Are you going to try and bag tickets for the event?
