Monster Hunter Wilds trailer

Capcom has released a new trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds. The first look at the upcoming game was shown as part of the PlayStation State of Play event on Thursday evening.

You can check out the first-look trailer for yourself below.

In addition to the trailer, some new information was revealed about the game, including it’s environment.

“Dynamic, ever-changing environments,” Capcom said. “A story of monsters and humans in a world with two faces: one in which the lands are harsh and unforgiving, where monsters fight for scant resources—and another in which the lands are vibrant and brimming with life.

“You play as a professional monster hunter, protecting the balance of the ecosystem and hunting monsters. Use the resources you gain from hunts to craft ever more powerful weapons and armor in your quest to unravel the mysteries of the new lands.”

Monster Hunter Wilds was first revealed back at The Game Awards 2023 with a short reveal trailer. The game is currently scheduled for release in 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.

  1. Gameplay looks good but the cutscenes look like something from the PS3.

  2. Game looks like ass the whole show except the Chinese games looked bad also Astro Bot looked good too. How do you go from Stellar Blade to Concord? My worry is Sony buys the Stellar Blade studio and ruins them because of that games success. Capcom should bring back the 2000’s games Mega Man Legends, Under The Skin, Power Stone, Battle Network, Star Force, Gotcha Force, Killer7, Maximo, Viewtiful Joe, and Auto Modellista. Can we get ports of them too or remakes? Those games should have been on Switch.
