NASCAR To Partner With Fortnite Ahead Of Globals

Fortnite posted a Tweet earlier today (September 5, 2024) claiming that the Battle Royale will be partnering with NASCAR ahead of Globals, the massive Fortnite tournament championship happening this weekend.

So, what does this partnership mean for the racing sport and the Battle Royale?

NASCAR Partners With Fortnite For Globals

Fortnite Globals is a yearly event that takes the best players around the world who qualified during the year’s various FNCS events and puts them all together in one arena. It is the best of the best going head-to-head against each other.

And now, it seems as if NASCAR is joining in on the fun.

The official Fortnite Competitive Twitter posted a Tweet today, saying: “Nascar is ready to bring the energy to the FNCS Global Championship! Stay tuned for more content!”

While this is the only information we have been given thus far, it does confirm that the popular sport will be a part of the massive Fortnite event.

Fortnite Globals To Feature NASCAR And Other Sponsors

No large esports event is official without any large title sponsors. Fortnite is no exception to this rule. The game has partnered with quite a few large names and companies in the past. This, however, is Fortnite’s first venture with NASCAR.

So, will NASCAR have something to do with Fortnite Globals? Or will they simply just reveal more details about the partnership at the tournament?

Fortnite is notorious for building something up only to have it be a bit of a letdown in the public eye. We will just have to be patient and wait until more is announced at Globals.
